For the final week of this Blogging marathon , bookmarked recipes is the chosen theme.
My bookmarking runs into pages and I thought this was a great opportunity to try some of them. So here is the first one.
Recipe Source:Flavours and Colour
|Par Boiled rice||3cups|
|Whole white urad dal||3/4 cup|
|Oil||For making dosa|
Soak the rice for 3-4 hours
Soak the dal and 1/4tsp of fenugreek seeds for 3hours
Soak the poha and sago separately for 3 hirs
Grind each one separately in a grinder into a very smooth paste. Mix everything with salt and let it ferment overnight
Next morning heat a dosa griddle and pour a ladle full of the batter. Do not spread
When the holes start to appear drizzle oil around , close it with a pan lid and cook it in low flame for a minute . Do not flip over
Serve warm with chutney and sambhar
